Chief complaint: Perio issues, was told she needs full dentures
She reported being healthy, with no physical or systemic problems.
She has undergone 4 perio surgeries in the past, her perio maintenance was poor, she would be good for a year and will miss a full year or more of hygiene. The only thing she checked on her dental history was that she was having gum infections. As reported by the previous dentist, she had an isolated abscess on the lower right, and another one on the upper left, and now she presented with suppuration and a 9 mm pocket on tooth 42 on the mesial.
70-80% bone loss through out the mouth with furcation involvements. The goals will be to level the bone on the upper right, and extrude 41-42 and 36-46 to improve restorative success.
